Cocktail of the week - "Southside"

Dreaming of warm weather? Put some sunshine in your glass! This week, our bartenders are mixing up a famous spring time drink, the Southside cocktail. There are conflicting stories about its origin. Some believe that the cocktail was created to cover the taste of the poor-quality liquor being served in Chicago during Prohibition. In reality, the drink was created at the Southside Sportsmen's Club on Long Island during the 1890s and named accordingly. The Southside cocktail is pleasantly cool and citrusy, thanks to the mint and the lime juice paired with gin botanicals. So, give it a go and get in the mood for spring!
